Some of the systems and service providers used by SecuriCage may process or store information outside South Africa.

Where personal information is transferred outside South Africa, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the transfer complies with applicable requirements under POPIA.

Access to personal information is restricted according to legitimate business requirements, and we seek to ensure that systems and service providers used to process personal information provide appropriate safeguards.

No electronic system or method of transmission can guarantee absolute security. We therefore continually consider appropriate safeguards in relation to the nature of the information we process and the risks associated with that processing.

We may communicate with customers, resellers and other contacts about products, services, account matters and relevant business information.

Electronic direct marketing will be conducted in accordance with applicable South African law.

Where consent is required, we will seek the necessary consent. Where the law permits us to communicate with an existing customer about relevant products or services, we may do so subject to the applicable requirements.

Marketing communications will provide an appropriate means to opt out of future marketing.

Operational communications relating to an account, quotation, order, transaction, security matter or existing business relationship are not necessarily marketing communications and may still be sent where required to provide or administer our services.

We encourage users to review the privacy information provided by those organisations where appropriate.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our operations, systems, services or legal obligations.

The current version will be published on our website. Where appropriate, material changes may also be communicated through the website, portal or other suitable channels.
